I’ve seen a lot of my fellow vegans re-blogging stuff about Silk soy milk lately (especially with the return of their famous holiday flavors) but my dudes, let me shed some light: Silk is owned by Dean Foods, one of the largest dairy manufacturers in the United States.
Do not buy Silk.
Buying Silk is not vegan and supports animal cruelty.
Purchase your non-dairy milks from cruelty free brands such as Earth Balance (they have holiday flavors, too!), Almond Breeze, or 8th Continent.
